In addition to my clinical work in Small Animal Internal Medicine with dogs and cats suffering from gastrointetsinal diseases, I work as a veterinarian in Clinical Pathology at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, Frederiksbrg, Denmark. 

Fields of interest

Gastroenterology, endoscopy and minimally invasive procedures, endocrinology, hemostasis, and trasnfusion medicine

Current research

  • microRNA as a biomarker of chronic enteropathy and gastrointetsinal cance rin dogs and cats
  • Vitamin D in chronic enteropathy and gastrointetsinal cance rin dogs and cats
  • fecal bile acids in cats with chronic enteropathy and gastrointetsinal cance rin dogs and cats
  • Percieved quality of life in dogs with chronic enteropathy and their owners
